The NIOA & RL Pastoral Production Sale will offer buyers the opportunity to invest in the most diverse bloodlines seen in Australia this year.
That’s the promise from revered Riverina Santa Gertrudis specialist Rob Sinnamon as he unveiled the 2022 catalogue.
For the first time this year the Sinnamons’ RL Pastoral Co has teamed with Allora-based NIOA Pastoral to present the stud stock showcase at Talgai Homestead on Queensland’s Southern Downs.
The on-property and online sale from 2pm on September 1 will present 56 lots including 52 bulls from 14 industry-leading sires.
“It is almost unprecedented to see at one sale the blending of such a wide spread of genetics through both natural and artificial breeding technologies,” said Mr Sinnamon who linked with NIOA Santa Gertrudis in April after two decades at Yulgilbar Station in the New South Wales Northern Rivers region.
“The best of the most recent North American bloodlines are offered alongside some of the oldest and most proven bloodlines here in this country.”
NIOA Santa Gertrudis manager Shannon Gardner said the depth and quality of the catalogue guaranteed a sensational draft.
“We are excited to launch this new sale with Rob and Lorraine as we collectively continue our mission to improve the breed,” he said.
NIOA & RL Pastoral will hold pre-sale inspections with an open day at the Sinnamons’ property, “Mayfield”, Kyogle, on August 20 from 10am-3pm while NIOA welcomes inspections by appointment.
Cattle will be on display on sale day at Talgai Homestead from 9am with bidding to start from 2pm.
Elders and Ray White have been appointed sale agents while both the Auctions Plus and Elite Livestock will host the event online.
